I just got home from the most relaxing few days in the history of the world - or at least on record. I spent Tuesday-Friday in Park City, Utah at my friend Lizzie's beautiful home. For 3 days I did nothing but eat, run, and watch the Olympics - literally. We made pizza and fajitas, sat and watched. My room was in the basement "cave" and slept at least 9 hours a night...who doesn't need that!? On the day that we actually did something productive with ours lives, we went to Provo, Utah to visit Lizzie's old campus, BYU, hang out with some of her college friends, and float the Provo Canyon river.
Me and Lizzie in our tubes
So pretty!
How beautiful is all of that!? It took us 2 hours to float down the river - and only $10! If you've never floated a river in Utah or Colorado, it comes highly recommended. The water is freezing, obviously, but it's hot and dry enough to feel really nice. I had a blast in Provo - it's so beautiful. And my back was sore from running 7 miles so that morning, and sitting in the tube for 2 hours completely numbed it - about the equivalent of icing your back for two hours. By the time I was out of the water the pain was completely gone. Lovely!
So after that we went to Costco and I got a new bright link zip-up and tank top, and we got ice cream and diet cokes (living healthy...you know). And by that night we were back at home, sitting on the couch and watching the Olympics again. Typical.
Today I woke up and went for a beautiful 3 mile run on the trails in Park City. It was so stunning I wish I would've brought my camera so I could show you guys. But here's a pic I found on google that I'm pretty sure is of the trails I was running on:

Not too shabby hm? I wished that my run for the day today was longer so I could've gone further, but because I have a 13 mile run tomorrow, I had to keep it down to 3. Nuts!
In other news, instead of moving into my fabulous new apartment (complete with air conditioning) on Friday, I'm moving in on Monday. I came home from Park City to an apartment that was 85 degrees, trashed, and smelling something awful - compliments of my roommate. So I just can't take the mess anymore....and I'm moving early. I'm an extremely clean person - to a fault. To a degree where it's almost not healthy. I love cleaning, I love having a clean apartment, and I love keeping it that way. To come home to trash that's literally rotting in the trashcan, flies, dishes piled in the sink, the living room a mess, hair that's not mine everywhere, and the entire apartment smelling is just too much. I need my own space - I'm 23 years old for goodness sakes. This whole random roommate thing is a thing of the past and needs to be put to rest so I'm moving and that's that. Woo! Goodbye cell-block dungeon!
