Today I decided I wanted to be faster

I ran 2 miles in 00:12:39:86. The fastest I've ever done it! I'm not sure why I decided to run tonight, I definitely wasn't planning on it. I found out it's exactly 2 miles to the Mass Ave bridge..and once I found that out, it's like I had absolutely no choice. My heart rate was already up even before I put my Zoots on. I think I'm programmed to do this. To air is human, to run is Katie. Let's hope I can keep it up for Saturday's race!!! love love love, me

Okay enough of the physiology of the human - sweat is awesome and all, 90% of the time I'm bathed in it by choice, but when I'm sweating all over my corpus coliseum drawing, causing the ink to run down and onto the brain stem, I get a little ticked off. Anyway, to distract myself from training for a Sahara Desert trek, I started to blog in my head - which I do a lot. Mostly when I'm cycling. So far, I'm working one entitled: There are Two Types of Men in the World: Golfers and Fisherman Inspired by, yup, you guessed it, mama dearest. But I'm not blogging about that today, mostly because it's not done yet. I'll keep you posted, though. Today the top...
