Montana Bound

GUESS WHAT. GUESS FREAKING WHAT. I'm 99.9% sure I'm moving to MONTANA this summer! Random. I know. Whenever I tell anyone, the usual response is along the lines of "...Montana. Why." I'm not exactly sure why I picked Montana. First I wanted to move to CO...and then everyone I talked to said Montana was like CO but better. And the more I thought about it, the more I liked it. So I did a lot of researching, talked to a few of my friends who live/lived in Montana and it just seems...right. Like the perfect fit. Did you know Montana has produced some of the fastest triathletes in the world? Like Matt Shryock, Adam Jensen, and Linsey Corbin. There are TONS of triathlons in the summer and a huge triathlete population. Maybe it's just what I need to get me inspired again. Long, flat roads with huge climbs and amazing views. I'm so, so, so excited. I just want to be out of the dirty, stuffy, rude city and back somewhere where I can actually take a breath and just ...

Back to the Grind

Darnit! I said I would blog more often - it's been almost ten days! But I do have an excuse - I went home and did nothing even remotely related to school work and came back to a heaping pile of stress. But home was worth it. I ate a lot, slept a lot, drank a lot, went on a brewery tour, saw some wolves, and survived Chris meeting the family! Which actually went awesome - what a trooper. Even though it started out something along the lines of the movie 'Meet the Parents' with the airlines screwing up Chris' bags...but all in all, the whole thing was an A++. Chris LOVED my family AND Missouri - he's a keeper! So I came back to Boston to freezing weather, a presentation, a test, and exams. But only 15 days until I go back! I'm also really excited for this week because I get to move in with the lovely Nina (also known as Tena -cause she's a 10, not a 9). We've talked on and off about being roommates since freshman year Thanksgiving break when we had a blast ...
