Today I got a message from one of my best friends at home, KatieHart (one word, not two) and she signed it, "Love, Purple Katie." Not going to even lie a little bit, I definitely teared up a bit. Though it was almost 8 years ago when we all met each other at cheer camp, yes, I said cheer camp, it seems like just yesterday I was stretching in a circle with the girls who would soon become some of my dearest friends. Mel, KR, and KatieHart were all there. Later I'd meet Molls, KP, Rach, Riley, Corinne, and Mary (I think in freshman choir?) We weren't even 15 yet but we thought we had the world figured out. Well, judging by the fact that I was in choir, on a cheerleading squad, and fully convinced I was going to marry my highschool boyfriend, it's safe to say I didn't figure things out until much, much later.
