During my 62 mile cycle today and I invented a new word: Roadgasm (n) The physical and emotional experience that occurs when the perfect T.T hill is found and you shift to a high gear, crank out, and a pass a car. Today was punishment time for Saturday when I was lazy and literally didn't do anything but be exponentially crabby all day and night. So I woke up at 6 am and raced an indoor time trial at Landry's - which was awesome! Even though I started profusely bleeding in the middle of it (a lot of girls hate their nose, today I REALLY hated my nose) and I didn't have my aero bars attached so it was uncomfortable....anyway. No excuses. It was a solid B+. But then it was SO gorgeous out and I haven't cycled in forevers so after that I did another 42 miles plus a Summit Ave. repeat. I am so excited to be sore tomorrow :)
