I just got back from a Sir Henry shopping spree at Pet Co! I was there for over an hour picking out toys, bones, a leash, a collar, etc etc etc. I'm definitely going to bring him again when I actually get him - I think he's old enough to pick out his own toys. Yes, they make energy treats for active dogs. They're organic and apparently it's like doggy GU. Perfect! I'm pretty sure Henry is too laid back to actually chew relentlessly on kongs, stuffed animals and ropes but I bought them anyway, just in case he changes his mind. I did see him chew a paper towel roll in half, so I think he's getting it. I don't think he knows what to do with toys, or knows that they're okay to chew because he never had them as a puppy. I get so sad when I think about how different his life could have been if he hadn't been found by Coonhound Rescue. I can't stand to think about how he grew up living on the streets and in the woods and almost died from starvation....
I like geography best because mountains & rivers know the secret: Pay no attention to boundaries.
