I tested my first subject today!!! I'm not allowed to disclose her name (confidential information) but in my study she is Aa1 - because she's my first subject! And that's the name first subjects get. And it would be silly to name her something like Ab3 or Jerry or something. I guess I could go with R2D2? B-52? U-2? Uh..anyway so she is Aa1. Other than testing subjects (I love that phrase, I have subjects.) Anyway, other than doing that I've found the term "research assistant" actually translates to "lab bitch." Basically...file that. Organize this. Put all these little tapes on one big tape. Code these tapes: every time the kid looks right, record the time. And my favorite?? Confirmation calls! Awesome. But I did walk to and from the lab today, which I love. It's 3 miles away but it was gorgeous out so I put on my Colbie and went for a nice stroll.
