Darnit! I said I would blog more often - it's been almost ten days! But I do have an excuse - I went home and did nothing even remotely related to school work and came back to a heaping pile of stress. But home was worth it. I ate a lot, slept a lot, drank a lot, went on a brewery tour, saw some wolves, and survived Chris meeting the family! Which actually went awesome - what a trooper. Even though it started out something along the lines of the movie 'Meet the Parents' with the airlines screwing up Chris' bags...but all in all, the whole thing was an A++. Chris LOVED my family AND Missouri - he's a keeper!
So I came back to Boston to freezing weather, a presentation, a test, and exams. But only 15 days until I go back!
I'm also really excited for this week because I get to move in with the lovely Nina (also known as Tena -cause she's a 10, not a 9). We've talked on and off about being roommates since freshman year Thanksgiving break when we had a blast at her brother's apartment for a week. So this week we're making the switch! I'm so happy/excited to move in! Next semester I'll actually spend time in my wonderful new room :) And it'll be nice having Nina next door, we're both so busy I don't get to see her that much - but at least now I'll leave sticky notes on her door or something. Or hang out in our "owl" themed common room!
Lovely to be with a midwesterner - it's a little like home away from home.
love love love,
me
