I'm writing my to-do list in my blog to hold myself accountable. Usually I meticulously write them out on post-its and stick them all over my desk...but I've started to include stuff I've already done purely for the satisfaction of crossing it off...so they've turned pretty useless. I think it's a side effect of senior-itis (Still raging, still no cure).
SO HERE WE GO:
1. Finish math homework (I still call it math homework. Speech pathology does not require math with fancy titles such as "Complex Variables and Applications" or "Differential Equations" or "Biostatistics" Math is math, stop trying to make it more than it is, people. I believe in addition, subtraction, and TI-84+ Silver Edition calculators.)
2. Completely pack up Mister Mac. -- For those of you who don't know..Mister Mac is my beloved Specialized Tarmac. He needs to be in a bike box, safe and sound by 4:30 tomorrow
3. Write a pack list ....Yes, I do indeed make lists for my lists. And appointments to make appointments. And blogs to remind myself about stuff I want to blog.
4. Pack my nationals bag using my pack list
5. RUN (this should be number 1)
6. Rest my legs - 2 days straight with 12+ hours standing and then working again today was no good for my quads. I'm thinking some nice RICE (Rest, ice, compression, elevation)
And that should be that. If I do all that I should be good to go for nationals...at least until tomorrow night when I bound out of bed at 1 in the morning, finally thinking of all I forgot to remember.
